Treasurer

Austin Ekonomou is a Florida native and currently serves as Treasurer. He previously held the roles of Membership Director and Assistant Membership Director, where he spearheaded the modernization of membership systems and streamlined annual audits, significantly improving the organization’s efficiency and positioning it for sustained growth.

Austin also serves as President of the Space Coast chapter of the American Conservation Coalition. In this role, he coordinates and hosts monthly events focused on advancing practical, conservative environmental solutions.

Professionally, Austin is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS), working in a high-volume clinic, where he helps patients improve their quality of life through better hearing care. He is actively involved in hearing health advocacy, regularly hosting community outreach events to raise awareness and increase access to care, particularly for seniors and underserved populations.

A strong advocate for public service, Austin has lobbied on behalf of the Space Coast Young Republicans and the American Conservation Coalition in both Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. His work spans environmental policy, community development, and other key issues, reflecting a growing commitment to local and state leadership.

Austin graduated from Viera High School and continued his education at Eastern Florida State College and Daytona State College. Deeply committed to community service, he volunteers regularly with House of Hope, assists seniors with home and yard maintenance projects, and partners with his church to assemble and distribute care packages for the homeless. His efforts are driven by a belief in strong, self-reliant communities supported by compassionate action.

• Has traveled extensively across the United States, including New York City, Niagara Falls, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, and the Eastern Seaboard, as well as Mexico and the Caribbean

• Enjoys building computers, studying history, and jet skiing
